Finally the Cat killer of Yishun is caught?

Despite 3 weeks after the arrest of the suspect, killings of cat still continued. 3 cats have succumb to injuries recently. Latest one, a cat body was found along Block 361, Yishun Ring Road (19 Jan 2016). The 40 year old man was out on now on a $10k bail.

A 40 year old man was arrested on Dec 27 along Yishun Ring Road. Lee Wai Leong, 40, believed to be a resident of Block 115B, Yishun Ring Road, was charged with killing a cat earlier on Dec 29.


According to a joint statement released by both the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) and the Police, Lee faces one charge under the Animals and Birds Act, which stipulates a fine up to $15,000 and/or jailed up to 18 months, or both for the first offence.
